Credit Card Offers ANZ Rewards Platinum Card: 100,000 bonus ANZ points + $50 back

At the same time when you received the email? I got that email but balance is still $0.
No, I got the email about a Travel Bank account being created for me on 19/01/23.
I got the email yesterday (30/01/23) from [email protected] for the actual credit being applied, email was titled 'Velocity Campaign Benefit'.

Well, got asked for some more income proof documents today. Sent a few. Fingers crossed.

In total , how many times were you asked for income documents and how many calls did you have to make with the wonderful *ANZ* ;) call center

4 calls so far and counting ... funny thing is, they wanted payslips from June & July 2022 ... I was like I'm giving you the latest & most $$ ones now ...

This card was a great churner
Opened card 12 October, min spend met early November
Status credits, 75K velocity points and $50 back received 8 December
Card closed 15 December
$95 travel credit received 30 January

Thats a great outcome , to have received the travel credit after card closure.

Tell me about it 😎
I was happy to close the card as I was going to go for & did get the Citi Prestige.
Getting the travel credit after closing the card is definitely a nice unexpected bonus.

Received an sms with a link to claim the velocity points today, on the 2nd statement.

Card opened 7th dec

Annual fee and rewards fee charged 26 dec

Still waiting for the $50 cash back though...

As soon as you claim the points - the rebate should post on your CC statement

Does anyone know what happens to your travel insurance if you cancel the card? I've a ANZ QFF Black and have a big trip coming up in March. Keen to make sure I remain on cover. I tried calling them but got stuck on hold.

I think it stops when the card is cancelled when I looked last year.
Best to read the PDS in details

I don’t think you could expect travel insurance to continue after the card is cancelled.

I should have explained myself better rather than relying on telepathy huh? 😂

I would plan on taking to an alternative card offer from ANZ which has the same insurance. I've been told by another customer that might might keep me in cover but probably only ANZ can confirm. My annual fee is due at the end of this month.
