I've preordered a Rose Gold 256GB 7Plus.
I have QC35's and will probably get a pair of 30's as well when they are released so the headphone connection is no loss to me.
I didn't upgrade from 6Plus to 6SPlus

The original 12.9-inch iPad Pro only comes in 3 colour choices (excluding rose gold). It's the newer 9.7-inch iPad Pro that comes in 4 colours.

Yep. I got the big one. I almost flipped to the small pro to get rose gold. Colours matter!

I was hoping a new iPad mini would have been released yesterday.

I might just go to an iPhone plus instead. Black of course!

The iPhone 6 Plus screen is bigger and the S has more advanced tech in it. For force touch and much higher resolution theses things costs and with Apple you will get it done properly with a full warranty.

Any of the devices with the fingerprint reader are expensive to fix. If they don't get the reader exactly right, it will stop working. It can't be replaced in the aftermarket, as it ties in the the Apple Pay/NFC security. We had a 5S that was fixed outside of Apple, and it ended up being retired shortly thereafter. It was a false economy.

While many will cry foul, the fact that 3rd party providers can't replace a fingerprint reader with a compromised one to gain access to my/your data is I think a lovely selling point. Certainly happier that my data is protected. Others would happily receive a compromised product to save some $$... not sure why they'd forego security or user experience.

I love my iPad mini so thought the 9.7 inch was too similar. I plan to ditch my windows 8 laptop of 12 months which I loathe and as I cut back on work requirements this will become my laptop. MrP has been in NZ this week so have yet to give him the good news
