On the App the date on the points tally is listed as April 1. Fingers crossed

Might have to book a stay to celebrate!

Funny enough, it appears IHG has left me at Platinum.....which is not correct, but who am I to look a gift status in the mouth!

BTW, I'm not chasing status anymore. With the multiple rafts of devaluations across many hotel and airline programmes, it has all reached a point of being pointless (for me).

I also received an IHG Platinum card a week or so ago, after doing a status match from HHonors last may, and only one stay.

Having the status is nice, but also a bit of a shackle, as you rather than trying out something new, I tend to always gravitate towards Hilton properties.

If they bounce you around the room until you turn blue, that might change .

Have you checked on-line today? IIRC, the blue landing usually occurs pre 1 APR, so you just may be in the clear! If so, it'd be the first I've heard of HHonors being big hearted!

Checked today and it still says Diamond. Its still not April-1 in the US of A, so maybe need to check tomorrow?

Is the possibility of a status downgrade despite being a cardholder with a 31/03/15 expiry date? In other words can the website trump the card?

I believe it can. They usually don't even want to see the card.

I got my Diamond card ( exp. March 2015) in the mail last month so I would be very surprised.

I just received a Silver card in the post even though I had 20 stays last year - so I should have dropped to Gold (from Diamond). I've sent them an email.

If they push it I'll just go click this on the Velocity site:

I'll be Platinum in a few months so will have a Diamond bump up my sleeve anyway!

I got a shiny Gold card last month
Apparently a better one is in the mail

What does that mean, does it mean I am Diamond until 31st March next year?

Strange, given that I have not set foot in a Hilton hotel in 3 years! But I'm off to the Conrad inn Bali in July, was zero status last time I was there, will be interesting to see the difference.

Uhmm, maybe all those weekends where all our HH records mysteriously disappear is starting to manifest itself in other ways. Perhaps the new Hilton Group web sites are more problematic than we're led to believe.

I've got the same note on mine, and as it is now 1 April in USA I'm hoping it will stick. 1 stay in the last 12 months but 2 coming up. Fingers crossed.
