A number of new offers launched today and are available under the Offers & Places section as per usual.

Note that not all offers are available to all card members (I'm aware for instance that some members got a Telstra offer and not an Optus offer).

Most of these are also only available to AmEx issued cardholders (amexconnect.com.au has the Dan Murphy's deal only).

I am new to Amex (it is an Amex direct card) and I'm also vision impaired so navigating their website is tricky at times.

Can you explain where/how to find these special offers?

As soon as you log in, where it lists recent transactions, there's another tab titled Offers & Places. Click on that.

I'm looking for the direct link for the TGG credit so I can register my supp cards.

I'm not too sure if a direct link exists, although others may be able to prove me wrong.

All of my offers, I had to log into My account section on AMEX's website then register for the offers listed for the card that the offer was available for.

I have several AMEX cards and some of them had more offers than others so YMMV.

Only the Dan Murphy's offer has a direct link (to support non-Amex issued cards) - all of the other offers can only be accessed via your Amex card page or via the Amex app in a logged in state.

If you have the iTunes offer but nothing you want to buy right now, you can save the 'free' iTunes credit for later -add the Amex as your payment method for iTunes, and following that go back to iTunes main page and click "Send iTunes gift". You can "gift" yourself $10 credit. I can confirm this works.

Also, interestingly I tried last night using a Dan Murphy's card at the Woolworths self-serve checkout and it worked fine, just like a Wish gift card. I do note though that I haven't got the confirmation email from Amex yet for the purchase of the Dan's gift card, so there is a possibility that Amex is now enforcing the "no gift cards" clause in the T & Cs. Although I don't see how..

Yes, but not for the offers only available through the Offers & Places tab on the Amex website. Only works when it's the form asking for your card number.

Gift cards purchased at supermarket still attract 3 points when purchased using the Platinum Edge card.
