Flew SYD to OOL in J and the seatbelt only had about an inch to spare! Just wondering if the belts are the same length in J as in rows 3 to 5. I know I've put on some pounds over covid but now I'm worried I wont fit into the normal seat belts in Y
If a belt is frayed it's removed and replaced. There are some J belts that are shorter than others and those would be the factory ones that came with the seat rather than one that VA has replaced or installed themselves. My theory is if a belt is frayed but but damaged, sometimes they hot knife instead of replacing, thus shortening the belt. I've been outbound and no problems and inbound a day later and it's a short belt
