I do not believe the promo code is linked to your membership so you can just get the code from the promo thread...

One of the codes was posted on OzBargain on 18 Oct, with over 1600 clickthroughs, 80 positive votes and no negative votes, so it's safe to say it can be used by anyone.

Im VA Gold, received the email and in top 1%, just got the code for 30% off no upgrade offer. Have only one booking PER - MEL in November. Outbound leg already upgraded but would of been nice to get the return leg. Only been up in the air 16 times in the last year but the high KM's is I make several trips to LAX.

Seem to be mistakes in my details as well, like when I took my first flight etc. was way off.
