Article: Daytime Flights from Asia to Australia

There is a daytime CS CAN-SYD flight. I recently flew it on the return leg of a SYD-FCO-SYD trip ($990). It really helped with the jetlag to be able to go to bed soon after arrival rather than trying to power through a whole day after an overnight flight from Asia.

JQ from DPS to Adelaide works well for us. Departs DPS at 11am and arrives around 5.30pm. So much better than the horrid midnight departure for a flight of 6 hours. Ruins the holiday feeling.

Unfortunately the Port Moresby daytime flights from Asia, will have to be ruled out of the equation........ since PNG is part of the Australian Continent and is not in Asia :) but a wonderful daytime flight anyway :) and a hidden gateway to Asia.

I love the idea as I can’t sleep on flights but I’m in Canberra and a lot of the arrival times
mean I wouldn’t be able to get a connection that day.

I live in Canberra and would honestly prefer to just spend a night in Melbourne or Sydney on arrival and connect the next morning, rather than fly overnight (especially if it's in economy).

Some changes in SQ's flight arrival time in DRW:

In October 25 SQ 245 was booked heavily but it came up with an extra flight which was very cheap.
SQ265 SIN-BNE 0710 - 1645.
SQ 245 is also scheduled.
