ASA One Million Seat Promotion

I'm waiting to accidentally delete all my photos - like I did with the previous 12 months of photos of lounges and seats...the night before we flew off!

But I did book a JASA today SYD-BNE so I'm at least in with a chance, unlike the QF lunch where I never pressed send (I blame Lawlass as we were in the F lounge a little too long before our flight) :p

I'm going to book one to BNE for awilcockson's birthday drinks because I'm a sucker for a competition.

Only one of us can possibly be to blame for extended FLounge time and that would be the one who has access...

I've had a look at international JASA flights to LAX and the amount of points seems much too high to be worth it, how much did you get it for? (If you don't mind me asking)
Maybe I'm looking on the wrong dates...

I've booked 2 one way tickets for 21 September 2012, points required were around 138,000, cheaper than Y or Y+. However, it is a conecting flight via BNE (also available via AKL). Now, I just have to wait for early October awards to book return flight home.

Strongly considering booking an ASA for the Christmas FLounge run on 3rd December just to get my entry in this comp.

Going to have to sit this one out. Blown lots of points on J and F ASAs in the last 12 months and the ~25K points sitting in my account are earmarked for a Y+ to J upgrade request in a couple of weeks. Timing is everything eh? ;)

Hmmm, forgot about the FLounge run. Maybe it would make more sense to book than than the 19th

Can one get xASA's on JQi flights at a reasonable points cost?

I'm looking at a JASA MEL-SYD then TT price match for JQ35. There's ASAs for ~12K, but they are saver fares (no SC or mi)
There's JASA that book into Business/Star Class - there would be no price match based on TT fares since TT don't have "business".

If you are hoping to get points/SC's on JQ with a price match then I admire your confidence.:D

Um, no. I'm doing a JASA on a QF flight up and paying $$ for JQ35 using a TT price match on a Saver fare (no SC/mi on JQ as noted in previous post).

Sweet ... I guess I was thrown a bit by the original reference to BNE ... good to know. :D

Do you just have to book by the deadline date?

Is there a travel deadline date?

Why do you call it 'black death' when it's all white and wakeful?

that would be white death. I was talking about the black and wakeful coke, which allegedly used to contain the white and wakeful version. Either way, both will kill one.

Or I knew I should have written cola as well!

[Muttering to self] and now I've gone off topic but I couldn't leave an AFF member

Perhaps them it's a good idea to get back on topic...allow me. At least I have some time to collect points so I can book another ASA

I can only hope the draw includes a positive bias to ASA purchase at poor redemption value.

Glad this back on topic, I'd hate any thread to go off topic here.
