They make no mention of it because they do not have a "special category" for ATP payments, unlike other cards. I did it recently, the earn is the same for any other normal purchase:

Earn 1.5 Qantas Points for every $1 of eligible spend with your ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum American Express® credit card[SUP]1[/SUP]
Earn 1 Qantas Points for every $2 of eligible spend with your ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum Visa credit card[SUP]1[/SUP]
I just rang the ANZ and on the Platinum they said it was only 1 QFF on the Amex and O.5 on the VISA. ?????
She said it changed a year ago, but you are earning 1.5 QFF per $ on the Plat Amex?

Wow that's terrible. So does that mean you can never bank with that particular bank ever again?
Is it then possible to get a facility with another bank?
What happened in your case?
Surely the bank could give a warning and give you a chance to say sorry I will never do it again. That's very harsh
It was only the Amex we lost so no big deal. We still had Visa/MC.
Was able to get a new personal amex about 6 m later but never bothered with the merchant facility. They asked us to sign up again a couple of years later (merchant facility)but i told them to jam it. Who wants to give a card company 2.5%+, per transaction. Never missed them really and EVERY customer has a back-up Visa.
SUspect its not only you being warped by the pursuit of points! That is the best approach burnt. Good thinking or is that just me being warped by the pursuit of points?
I cannot quote for his exact card but most other Westpac cards are 50 % points for ATO or none at all. This applies to my Black(amex /mc) and Business Plat(amex/visa) cardsDoes anyone know if Westpac BusinessChoice Aquire Rewards Card pays for ATO expenditure?
Better you do your own tester and use the Amex card of that account if there is one.
