ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

From what I can tell, it does. Nothing in the T&Cs, and the Jetstar card which is also Macquarie does too. I haven't personally tested either or seen recent clear confirmation from anyone though.

Can anyone give a clear confirmation that the black donut is good for ATO?

Overnight the ANZ Black bit the dust.
I am still good for AA,Kris,QF and not good for Virgin with ATO.
Lucky I can get Virgin points from land tax and payroll tax so life goes on.

...................but I feel sure someone will try to do a payment at 11.55 pm on 26 th Feb..................

Not quite, Cove.
Was 11.15pm on 26th cutting it fine enough. I'll let you know if they post....
D

I bought the AFF guide today for $9.95 so my one finger typing has sealed my lips on the contents. It is getting close to one more year since this all started so I think I have the next 7 years of travel covered.

With ANZ Black gone , we only have westpac altitude black for ATO payment  Any other cards suitable for KF or Velocity ? Thank You

So as the guru of all things Points, are you happy with your purchase?

Actually yes I am happy with the purchase.
Before ANZ rocked out the door I prepaid March because I could.
Did someone say Krug champagne.....the countdown has started but Brisbane comes first.

Payment on 26th late afternoon finally posted to ANZ, but interestingly it has a transaction date of 29th, with the points still fully credited.
Now to have the discussion about cancelling the card. I'll report back on the outcome.

Hi all

Anyone have the St George Signature (or Platinum) card and know if they are issuing points for tax man transactions recently?

Apologies if my trawling of this thread and the web was not thorough enough. Tried my best!

Cheers

Hi all - feeling a little unloved!

Just bumping my query again. Does anyone have the St George Signature or Platinum card? If so, do you know if these cards are issuing points for ATO transactions?

Thanks :)

Don't know so try a $100 transaction on your St George Amex. It is part of Westpac so you may get something.

My hunch is that it will earn points. My Bank Of Melb amplify works. BOM also owned by Stgeorge/westpac. I second Coves test recommendation, but let us know how you go.

Has anyone had success paying ATO with the Bankwest Qantas Platinum MC? I understood that you couldn't but an AusBT listed it as one of 5 cards that pay on ATO at 0.75 Qantas Points per dollar spent back in Nov...

Can confirm this card works, I've used it a few times 0.75 ppd and 200k cap

Also ran a test on the Amex Velocity Red and can confirm points at 1 ppd
