ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

I have an Altitude Black from the 100k signup offer.

I was under the impression you could switch back and forth between earning QFF points and Altitude points - does anyone know how to do this ? There's nothing obvious in online banking.

Short answer: call them. I would wait until your bonus points are safely in your airline program first though.

Don't forget about Amex Explorer (on Ascent program) and using Rewardpay to pay off ATO and other suppliers who don't take Amex or charge a surcharge higher than 2.4%

Since this thread started about 8 years ago I have paid xx,xx_,xx_ on credit cards so I remain most impressed with js who started me on this thread. I am hoping I don't have to put another x on this in the next 8 years.

I did the same thing with a similar number of cards last week. I cut and paste the my email address for the receipts, and cut and paste the account number. So, it only took an hour. I wouldn't want to do too many more.

I paid with 29 x $100 Visa Only1 cards this morning. Took a while. Around 90 minutes but I wasn't in a rush.

I have read some references to using Qantas Cash to pay ATO accounts.
Is the Qantas Cash card accepted by ATO and regarded as a debit card for payment ie no surcharge?
many thanks

0.5 pts per $, 0.54℅ fee.

For the past 1 year , I have done about 600-700 cards ( All Coles prepaid MC ). Best way to do it: Set a limit about 10-15 cards/day, Otherwise you will feel dizzy Hahaha :D

I don't pay tax as it comes out of my income so it doesn't relate to me but of curiosity when there is no promotion going are most points collectors buying these woolies or Coles cards with discount. Offsetting the fee fee which makes it fee less virtually and paying off their tax bills while paying the 0.54% cc fee. But just getting a he'll of a lot more points by their amex cards??

Is this the general gist of it?
