You can find the aricle here

A Gold Coast man has been charged after he and his female companion were sprung while allegedly attempting to join the "mile-high club" on a flight from Brisbane over the weekend.

It was alleged the man became abusive towards cabin crew after he and the woman were found together in the plane’s toilet.

Slightly disturbing that they felt that they could get away with this on a Jetstar A320. If it was a SQ A380 and they were in a F suite perhaps I could see it happening

I remember when the F Suites were first released, SQ came out saying that they would not tolerate this on their 380's. I believe there were couples who had specifically paid to use the product for that purpose. Whether or not they took legal action is a different matter.

Ha! On budget carrier, airline screws YOU.
They must have read the T&Cs wrong...

Sure... but for when the lights are out, in a empty cabin, in a quiet plane (where you can probably hear someone approaching) you could get away with it in one of those double F suites - no? I would probably give it a crack if those above conditions were met - why not!

I've never heard of someone able to get it on and not produce a sound greater than a whisper. Especially when women are involved, it's waaaaaaaaay too easy to make too much noise.

Besides, those F suites (in fact, all F suites I know of) aren't completely sealed because they don't have floor to ceiling walls, right? (I mean, they are certainly high, but still top open)

Result: too easy to get caught.

Moral: if you're going to do it, don't get caught! Otherwise, you're just another idiot.

In this case here, I can only surmise that someone dobbed them in, or the FA noticed, so either one or both of the perpetrators openly did it without regard or wasn't very effective in being discreet. The manner in which they were caught was not described in the article.

I wonder what sort of fine they are going to get....

But they must be gymnastic type people to get it on in one of the toilets...

Had a couple get it on in Y on QF6 once. Girl just rolled over in the night and got on top of the bloke, all under a blanket. This was in F and G seats no one noticed, not even D and E, except SWMBO who was in the seat behind them. By comparison an F suite should be easy!

Very daring! Don't think i'd give it a go in Y, but definitely in F if the planets align
