Back page headlines in the Courier Mail is "A Star is Born" in reference to Jhye Richardson.

I did some quick calculations and the current stars are Starc, coughmins, Lyon, Hazlewood and Pattinson and I can't work out how to fit 6 stars into 4 positions. Rotation?

Yes this is a nice headache to have but batting is where our problems lie.

Pity we can't get Kemar Roach as an Aussie-5 for 4 in 27 balls against the English in the First test in Kingston.England all out for 77.

You'll be lucky to ever see Pattinson in the Test team again. He's now injured his back (again) and that from only playing T20!

Can he bat? We don't need bowlers. We need someone who can bat.

That score made me very happy - I gather Mr Boycott gave his opinion on the English team performance and it wasn't complimentary

Pattinson.....hhmmm
Lyon is a lock.
So, it’s 4 into 3.
Mitch best perk up.

Surely Chadd Sayers has to be a chance for England, even though he is 31. He swings the ball and would be a handful with the Duke ball.

Well there’s the thing. He hasn’t played cricket other than district since the damn BBL started. And we wonder why players aren’t match hardened. Once BBL is done those who haven’t played test cricket have a seemingly impossible task to immediately play well to impress.

Aaarrgh, maybe it wasn't the toss he should have won...

Fernando to Harris, OUT, caught at point! Another poorly executed shot! It was a full wide out-swinger, he was tempted into the big square drive, he got down on one knee and crunched it flat and hard and straight to point, Chamika gets low and takes and excellent catch!
MS Harris c C Karunaratne b Fernando 11 (18b 1x4 0x6) SR: 61.11

1/11.

Sheesh, it just gets better:

Wicket
Fernando to Khawaja, OUT, caught at second slip! This was a lazy stroke. A full out-swinger wide of off, another tempter, Khawaja just wafts his bat at a drive with no footwork, reaching miles away from his body, gets a thick edge that flies head high to slip and the catch is well taken by Mendis who is a good gripper!
UT Khawaja c Mendis b Fernando 0 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

2/15
