The other angle to this is that India have to agree to whatever is proposed. India do NOT like the Gabba. At all. They much prefer the SCG from a cricketing perspective.Much of it irrational and unnecessary.
And some will quite rightly contend that NSW can.
If the policy settings aren’t adjusted at some point, no one’s going to be going anywhere for a long time.
There is also the fact that Queensland reneged on a deal made regarding the ODI and T20 matches, and NSW stepped in to save the day hosting the teams at Olympic Park and 4/6 matches, the other two at Manuka Oval. Cricket Australia is perceived to “owe” the NSW government for this.
