Of course it’s against the rules.Interesting. Then the umpires should have intervened. They didn’t. So not against any rules but that might change. Or not.

After the BB then Sheffield Shield cricket resumes. Usual cricket season ends in March but these days AFL fixtures seem to take over prime cricket ovals before the season has finished. I believe that starts in late Feb or early March.Anyone know when the Australian Cricket season ends in Oz. Just curious as to whether it’s almost over.

A very shallow article, but then I read the article about the win and the comments. It's the Daily Mail, but sums it up.
India accused of breaking rules in fifth Test with questionable tactic
Irate cricket fans have taken to social media during the fifth Test to complain about Indian support staff breaching the rules with a cheeky fielding tactic.www.dailymail.co.uk
And a similar themed article written in the Indian press will have the exact same racism comments but in reverse.A very shallow article, but then I read the article about the win and the comments.
Blatant racism appears to be the forte of those commenting.
And Damien Martyn was dropped for years following that match with the blame for the loss placed entirely on his shoulders. The same treatment doesn't seem to be afforded to players these days. Maybe it's because we just don't have the replacement stocks we had back then.Looks like India don't need Bumrah............
Sydney, 1994, Australia chasing 117 to beat South Africa.... all out 111 and McDermott made 29 of those.....
WRT - You do seem to be deliberately obfuscating the issue. It's not an issue with players ONFIELD but many Indian staff OFF FIELD helpers reducing the work load of their on field players by reducing the work the on field players have to do to retrieve a ball thus saving energy for them, especially ion a long game. Not in the spirit of the game. Just give the players chairs to relax and let the unselected off field helpers field to ball all the time then.Until an Umpire responds then jury is out. This is so far just media speak and doesn't count. I did check on Lords website the other day and this isn't specifically mentioned in fielding. Indeed it focuses on player obstruction of various means and not extra personnel.
If it is against the rules then the Unpires failed in their responsibility.
If you are concerned that it's cheating then why didn't you comment on this back in November? The media did.
"Gilchrist and former England captain Michael Vaughan both raised concerns over Labuschagne's negative tactic by bowling around the wicket. "Have you ever seen such a despondent team of Australian cricketers, resorting to those tactics? What are deem...

I understand the issue perfectly. If such actions by anyone aren't illegal then it's simply something they are doing that isn't unlawful. But you seem to be taking it to a level that you have concluded the players are being lazy or protected too much. If the Aussies think it's a worthy idea then watch this space.WRT - You do seem to be deliberately obfuscating the issue. don’t see how throwing a ball back is against the spirit of the game or against the rules.
Let's just say he does little to endear himself to the non-India supporters. Huge respect for his skill and talent, but don't rate his on-field - or off-field - carry on. Also get the very distinct impression that he's one of those who can dish it out, but can't take it when it's served up to him.BTW, does anyone else think Kohli is, in general on-field, a w*nker?
