No-one can accurately predict how the COVID-19 outbreak will develop in Australia. Our collective response has to be flexible and collaborative.

Thank you. I will admit that yesterday was a bit of a day for me, over anxious and teary - I think I was in hyper info overload.

Stop reading social media and commercial news is a great start to help with that. You have to realise that Facebook and the news sites MAKE MONEY from spreading absolute sensationalist cough that people click on.

Even a lot of these AFF corona threads (although better than Facebook) are full of absolute rubbish which is disappointing, but we are not immune and AFF has to make money too.

Just need to focus on the things you can control and don't worry about the things you can't.

As others have pointed out and repeated - personal hygiene, social distancing and refrain from touching your face and eyes is a HUGE thing that everyone can to do limit their chances of picking up what appears to be for a huge majority of people a mild flu like infection.

Hope this helps :)

The school has sent an email with a 7 point checklist - tick yes to any and you must leave the school grounds and have a full medical clearance before you can return

The one that interested me... makes perfect sense, but it's the first time I can recall these names popup.

Have you recently travelled to or returned from a moderate risk Country - Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore or Thailand.

Adelaide now has a drive-thru coronavirus testing station at the Repat. Patients will need a referral from a doctor but can head to the drive-thru clinic where swabs will be taken and sent for testing.

Given a lot of the worldwide medical mask makers are in Hubai province and even Wuhan the only thing they are rolling in is the virus unfortunately.

This makes three dedicated clinics attached to hospitals and a drive thru. It seems very well managed and staffed by experienced personnel. The masks always have to be removed for testing.....
I believe we are the first in the country
Heard about it on the radio this morning but now there is an article on it aswell

Yes hats off to SA.Your Health Department does seem to be ahead of the curve and showing the other states how it should be done.
QLD is mere platitudes.

It seems rather out of character for us! Probably a sign they just have no resources for a full scale viral spread. The opposition is struggling to get a complaint in so has chosen to focus on a completely different issue which is the new Children's Hospital but it's not getting any traction.
