Nice, so NSW community transmission should be 11 days since last case (though I got 10 based on watching the figures lol....perhaps a previous day 7 case resolved at day 8 or something like that).

Prof Sutton even apologised this AM in his briefing for publicly naming the community, he did it because he has worked in Afghanistan twice, said he loves the people and the country and offered to go (and did apparently) and speak with them directly if it helped.

But he was apologetic today if people thought that it singled them out and apologised in Afghan on national television. Really sincere.

Meanwhile our team up here in QLD can barely communicate in English :rolleyes: 😂

Had to listen to a family member mouthing off what a cough AP is because her mother is in aged care and she's not allowed to take her out for a drive or to the shops. I pointed out that was probably in her mother's best interest and if her mother was out and caught CV and died would she be ok with that and accept responsibility and how could she ensure her mother did not take CV back into the home? All that was glossed over by another response on what a cough AP is.

Agreed but I am sure Queensland still counts it as such for their 14 days criteria. :)

Hopefully allocated to something soon and disappears.

Why would they need another metric?
They already have said they were aiming for 28 days without community transmission to open up.Yet they have declared LGAs with no Covid cases ever as hotspots.
But they have now reversed their position on the ACT and announced for NSW that it now only has to go 14 days without community transmission to be allowed in.
Their polling is obviously telling them something.So if it gets a bit worse expect opening up to NSW no matter what.

You can only laugh.... a state of 7 millionish people has ONE class from a health care worker who is working on people with the Coronavirus, yet we say “it’s a mystery how they got it” and premiers use it as an excuse to split the country.

We really have totally lost it in Australia.

Sorry if I sound negative, but I went through the disgusting “border controls” at Perth airport yesterday so my faith in humanity is only just holding on! I’m really not sure how we’ll go back to treating each other humanely after this.

Today left with SA and Tas to report zero for there to be 24 cases (including 2 in international quarantine) nationally.

Nationally we look like 999 active cases - down to three figures Woohoo!!
 
So the family of five groups who broke the quarantine and created a cluster aren't going to be fined because they cooperated with helpful information. Does this mean that if you break quarantine and don't spread covid and so have nothing helpful to offer that you will be fined?

Because they don't want to open up and thought that metric wouldn't be met?

Though I wonder if AP asked her mother if she'd rather have no contact with AP and could possibly die without seeing AP again, or spend quality time with her and have some good memories with AP?

No need to guess. I found him pretty quickly but will not name him in case others want to exercise their minds. The power of Google image search for me I am afraid rather than any knowledge.

But where did his life go wrong for him to end up being where and what he is? :)
