I agree. I thought I made it clear that the Vic Police likely wouldn't have had enough notice to prevent the traffic hazard, and at the same time, SA Police could not do anything on the Vic side.It's not Victoria Police's fault that SA slapped a hap hazard border closure up, with minutes / few hours max notice that resulted in traffic on the VIC side building up and then someone dying because of the dangerous conditions.
The responsibility for this tragedy lies squarely at the feet of the SA government / leader that made this decision without putting proper procedures, communication or notice for the border closure in place, resulting in the congregation of traffic near the border.
