Seems not all G2G requests are checked by humans prior to approval.. I lodged mine yesterday for a late Feb arrival and received my permit instantly on the ServiceWa app…..(Mmm, could a change be coming soon?).. Not looking forward to another 2 weeks locked up at home..

Yep for intl too no need for a hotel & close contacts, acceptance of RATs etc. Most positively is the acceptance of high case numbers which is the first step in living with covid.

Id be willing to bet (with a small amount) that in another month all arriving quarantine will be dropped.

Yeah, given the current situation in WA I was expecting changed arrangements by the time I get home...looks like one week will now be shaved off my sentence.. Not complaining, it's better than the 2 weeks I did last year and I'm sure I can keep busy..

What a coincidence... he’s changed that when he is about to travel to SYD and forced to isolate, due to being at an exposure site
Now isolation is only 7 days.

So if I'm from Interstate and negative I have to wear a mask after 7 days iso.
But if I lived in wa and got covid.
After my iso I don't have to wear a mask for 7 days

More unenforceable garbage, just like 'home quarantine'..... writing is on the wall now thankfully for all to go away.... the pressure has been unrelenting and will continue....

Just saw a headline “Quarantine to be considered for AFL teams visiting WA”. I think if that‘s required the matches will be played outside WA. Players won’t want to put up with significant extra restrictions over what they will face everywhere else in the country.

They won’t do it they’ll just remove the WA games, happily.

But don’t worry, WA is now back pedalling on restrictions you can see it all unfolding now… although the comments today were hilarious - but at least acknowledging they are behind.

Home quarantine is definitely enforced over here. You have to check in daily on your mobile phone when the alarm goes off. It knows it you are not at your quarantine address.

But hopefully this is the beginning of an open border at last.

Search TikTok and you will find out how people are gaming it . But honestly what does it even matter anyway now? Omicron has seeded well and truly what’s a few more cases here and there

Lucky. People I know who had to iso had the rozzers on their doorstep in the early days or got a ping on the app.

I had expected them to turn up while I nipped out to get my PCR. But no. Not one check on me.
