Great to hear no more pre-departure tests but wgat about the arrival tests? QLD requires a supervised RAT, nut othe states say just to get one. VIC is one so does that mean I can self test?

Yep. Scam insurance.
I'll say. When Hamilton tickets first came out in Melbourne I got great seats (purchased July 21) for todays performance (20/4/22). I purchased the Covid Insurance. Now I am in quarantine as daughter has Covid - so cannot go and informed their refund site on Sunday 17/4. Filled in form with details of the government notification, vic rules etc and they are quibbling about there being only "Gov evidence" on a mobile. I dont think they are onshore as they seem unaware of how we are notified/rules about Iso etc. So, to ensure I am not just dudded out of money AND tickets, I put in formal request to ticketek prior to 10am today (deadline for performance) who said I can get tickets to another show. I had made it explicit to them I was only doing this as a safety net if my claim is denied. I will see what happens. If my claim is denied I will write to ACCC as this is deliberatel misleading. They no longer sell the insurance I note. Not Happy.

WA G2G pass and vaccination requirement for interstate travellers will end this friday (29th).
I couldn't believe you still had to do it - had a friend ring me last night to help him because he's technologically challenged. That was a waste of my time

And in good news - credit where it is due - after submitting my essay to ‘refundable ‘ on the history and Vic state government law re:Covid….. today I got my refund😀
