Avianca LifeMiles – Bookings and Discussion

Thanks. I find the app impossible because the lettering is so small but that is because I have 78 year old eyes.
Fortunately it came good about half an hour later.

LM has become such a useless program. No TG, ANA , and UA award flights from major Aussie cities such as Sydney and Melbourne. I feel sorry for people who have heaps of miles but can't use them.

By the way, how did you find United's long haul service and food? I am thinking of flying with them between Melbourne and SFO next year.
ANA is not bookable?

I can see SYD-HND ANA availability.

Thank you so much for flagging this. Booked return June 4 to June 18 KUL - LGW - KUL. There were plenty of available seats.
No problems… glad info has helped people…just make sure you phone LM to get them to issue you e-ticket which has TK PNR which you can then go into their app and reserve seats etc…definitely seating plan for a350 on the IST/KUL leg which is good news…

Possible to do it using the whatsapp chatbot as well, did it last week - can't get it the bot to send the etickets now but it will transfer to a live chat agent.

I can’t recall if others have posted this routing before, but I just booked 2x Business SIN-MEL on Turkish A350 for 46K + $100 pp. I know SE Asia to South Pac is supposed to be 40K and 50K the other way, but I’m still happy with that price for that service. It’s a nice day time flight too. With the upcoming cancellation of the other 5th freedom Emirates service from SIN-MEL, it’s now a matter of EK taketh, TK giveth.

A word of caution - at the final step of the booking process an error popped up (as usual), but not before I grabbed the booking reference. The ticket was eventually issued and visible on Avianca, but it wasn’t until I got the ticket manually emailed to me via the Call Centre that Turkish could see the booking. The joys of Lifemiles.

Is there a lot of TK J seats via Avianca?

For that particular route over the 2 months that I was looking, not a lot, but still enough there if you are flexible with dates.
Ive never dabbled in Avianca points but always looking for options especially if its cheap

Anyone want to blow some more Lifemiles points???

Newly launched Lufthansa A380 DEN-MUC and vv service available on Lifemiles for 69K +$50USD. Plenty of Business awards available for the seasonal service of April 30 through September 30th. Onward connections to Istanbul and other Star Alliance destination available for slightly more miles. But there's a lot of married segment logic occurring though, so many routes simply won't show availability. You'll just have to try your luck with various destinations using the thoroughly enjoyable Lifemiles award booking engine.

The plane also operates from Munich to New York, Boston, Washington and Los Angeles so these may have availability too.
