I can see SQ J availability on regional J A330 from ADL and BNE, and 777-300(non ER) from MEL - 2-2-2 angled bed looks the same as VA new A330 J.
I thought the only non A380 SQ into MEL was a 77W?

I know we have the award cost tables for both USDM and LM and Im not sure if people are ever still interested in LM (??) but I did a complete $ cost comparison between the 2 programs for each destination region from Australia, because USDM usually requires less miles, but LMs cost less to buy. I was interested to see if there was much difference in costs between the 2 programs on any particular routes. Obviously there are huge differences between how the 2 programs work but if you are just after the lowest price you might want to know the difference.
This was done in the way most people here would ideally purchase their miles - all USDM miles were bought with a 100% buy bonus (i.e. a Europe redemption would have to be bought over 2 promo periods) and all LMs bought during a similar 100% buy bonus, with max cash min points selected when booking. I didn't include taxes and I don't know what they would be for each route.
Some regions were a similar costs, one was cheaper through USDM, most were cheaper through LM (some hugely so).
Please PM me if you would like my $ results for any region - alternatively I can post the entire comparison here if people are interested.

some good points.
however for me - i want the ease and certainty provided by USDM: (generally) available flights as per ANA/awardtravelr; easy to get phone assistance; easy to process refunds and changes; can get mixed class itineraries; frequent promotions. Lifemiles might be cheaper, and has one ways, but for convenience USDM has some very strong points.
Yeah throw it up I have a feeling I'm going to need it
wow! I had no idea the differential was so great to USA and asia!! nice chart!
