Was focused on burning UA lately and didn’t use LM for a while. I usually restock at 145% (it doesn’t get much better than that) but recent website changes which closed some major loopholes and lack of posts in the successful bookings thread are a worry

Yeah saw they devalued...

Just had a brief read back on comments.. is it possible to get a summary of the closed loopholes and changes that have occurred?
Eg.
- Screenshot method still available?
- Colombian website workaround?

I am still finding value.3 x 2 F awards on ANA from USA-NRT in the next 10 months.Finding TG F awards to and from SYD again.Yes the ex aust prices are up but F return SYD-BKK for ~$A2200 is fine by me.

Comments by an ‘Associate’ (Tiffany) in the OMAAT article suggest that Ben will try to negotiate a better deal again. Maybe 150%, so it might be worthwhile waiting a few days to see if that pans out.

FWIW, I’m a stockpiler at these rates. Note the annual limit of 200k before bonuses.

That was my understanding as well, but I saw this under T&Cs

The maximum amount of miles to receive by a member per calendar year outside of this promotion is 200,000 LifeMiles (including miles purchased and bonuses received). If the member surpasses the limit, through purchases made during this promotion and other purchases in 2017, taking into account the bonuses received for those purchases, he or she will not be able to purchase any more miles until the next calendar year.

Correct

I cannot buy any under my name... looks like my daughter will buy this time around

From brief overview it looks like one of my favourite redemptions, LH F for the price of J is gone. TG F for the price of J also doesn’t seem to work but I did manage to get mixed-airline booking J/F for the price of J during early days of the new website update (info posted in the relevant thread). Not sure how easy is to get it now, will have to dig dipper into the system soon as I need to book some flights for the end of next year.

Is this new search really slow and terrible, or am I doing something wrong? I can't get it to work well at all!

Actually I find the new search engine to be much faster and efficient.
So far it doesn't provide the results I'm after but that's a different issue ;)

I also think the new search engine is efficient and fortunately giving me the awards I want.

Hmm need to try a new browser and computer then. Thanks all!

You may be right. One thing I forgot was that I have finally given up IE and gone over the Edge.Speeds better and no more pages freezing.

I'm not sure there's any need to sign up or register...LM is offering 150% bonus on its home page.Unless that also links to OMAAT?

edited... oh nevermind. Although it advertises 150% it's only giving 140 or something on the buy page.

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.

Been using LM for quite some time (buying for parents), and so far has been great.

Thinking to do some travels for the first time given a bit of free time from work, so though I'd try J travel for the first time.

I'm considering traveling alone to some locations I've always wanted to visit around Europe, I'm just wondering if there's an 'ideal' way to travel to multiple cities using LM? Should I just travel to a particular city and then use Ryanair or some other cheap carrier to fly around to all the other cities of interest?

We have used LM to fly into a few Europen cities, most often being Milan. Over time we have also used Porto, Munich & Frankfurt. I think it is often just a matter of spending the time on the website to see what is available
