AwardWallet

Hmmm, I must be old fashion. I just have all my frequent memberships grouped under "My Favourites" on my browser. Never had a problem forgetting any yet.

Have added my support to citirewards being added. Interesting to note that the Amex MR tracking option accurately records my direct-earn QFF Amex points.

Serfty, why don't you have the AA App sitting alongside AwardWallet?

I was disappointed with AA's decision as I look after 9 AAccounts and it was going to make my life easy.

Is it just my imagination or is Awardwallet not that popular?

Someone else posted about AW a month or so back - I downloaded it then - gives you a kinda warm fuzzy feeling when looking at pts balances on one screen but basically useless otherwise IMHO.

Hmm really? Sorry for doubling up then. I Googled before posting this and only saw it mentioned in passing once or twice.

That's one of the reasons I want CitiRewards added - lots of points there ;) Is it acceptable to say you have a two comma points balance if it's the sum-total of all the accounts you have setup with AwardWallet? :D

but basically useless otherwise IMHO.

Don't forget warnings of points / accounts expiry - that's a very valuable feature in my mind.

But limited to three account, unless you wish to pay ...

True - but they are offering 6 months of a premium account for free with new signups at the moment, and beyond that it costs as little as $5/year...

One thing I'm not quite clear on WRT expirations - maybe someone here knows the answer: does AwardWallet warn of individual batches of points expiring? Or just a whole account expiring? e.g. KrisFlyer, does it warn you when you have a batch of points approaching 3 years old, or only if your account has no activity in 3 years? (perhaps a bad example as AwardWallet doesn't seem to support expiration warnings for KrisFlyer, but it's one program I know the expiration rules for off the top of my head)

Thats a problem I never experience - I always seem to be able to create some fictitious reason to travel to extinguish impending pts expiration.

I might have to do the same from now on... :-) Still, while I'm in no danger of points in my "main" accounts / points expiring, I think the reminder for "minor" accounts may prove to be useful.

I'm guessing more it's unknown. I only discovered it a few weeks ago!
It was mentioned to me and a few other by cove/mhen back in September.
Thanks mhen and cove for the Award Wallet tip.
Further reference on this site was in December.
**OT Tip for tracking points on smartphones**
I got a tip from Mary + cove at a SYD AFF Dinner some months ago about a site called Award Wallet. l'm sure that a few AFF members already use this free service, but l wanted to bring it to the attention of any newbies or people that might have missed it.

Signed for an account (free), enter your QF # (+ any other memberships/FFP's). When there is any activity in your account (e.g. - QF Points changes, status changes, flights booked) you get a instant e-mail notification with updates.

This saves me logging into my QF account and a quick glance at the Award Wallet e-mail, l can usually tell when the WOW Points hit the account.

Great to have especially if your like me and only carry a Blackberry most of the time during work hours. I highly recommend it and there are iPhone/Android apps available now too.
For tracking points balances, I'm currently loving www.awardwallet.com.
I had a play with it but, like a lot of contemporary web sites, I found it rather resource hungry.:-|

Don't ever let on if you have 2 figures in front of 2 commas as there will be about 31,000 members sending you adoption papers.
Award wallet leaves out AA and Citi the last time I checked so it doesn't suit everyone.

Speaking of that, did you receive that letter I sent you??;)

As per my original post, I was able to suggest to the AwardWallet guys a workaround that may let them add support for CitiRewards... if you haven't already, go and +1 CitiRewards at http://awardwallet.com/status/ cove - one more vote and it'll be the most-requested-to-add program (and thanks to all that have already voted).

We are over in Western Australia so letters need to come over slowly.WA stands for wait awhile.
No mail received just yet but if it is at work I will be there today for a few minutes.

I use ANZ Money Manager for this... It shows balances of all internet banking accounts (deposits, investments, credit cards, loans) as well as loyalty programs.

This is like Mint in the US which a really popular website for consolidating all of this data.

In terms of security concerns and you can work out your comfort level, however it only pulls static data so nothing can actually be changed through this website.

I like being able to see everything in the one place, and it supports all of the major Australian and international accounts etc.

Actually I have discovered that it doesn't support the Jetstar MC or the Qantas CU Visa (does savings accounts) which is disappointing.
