Just to close out this thread, my wife passed away peacefully on 28 November 2012. She was quite active until 2 weeks before her passing.

I am so sorry to hear that. Please accept my condolences, my thoughts are with you and your family. I know we are a disparate bunch here on AFF but you feel like you get to know people, just a little bit, from long distance.
