In what has been described as a significant move, British Airways will today announce a JSA with Local Australian Airline Virgin Australia. Sean Doyle explains this will open new opportunities for British Airways in the South Pacific and could include flights from East Coast Australia to the United States. It will provide seamless travel for Australians travelling on any combination of partners including, BA,QR and SQ for example.

This new arrangement will ensure that the travelling public have access to the most efficient travel itinerary to anywhere in the world, with the best of service and experiences.
