BA Avios subscriptions

My understanding is that after May 1st all monthly subscrptions will go up ( including current ones ).The only way to avoid this increase is to pay for a yearly subscription before May 1st.
The price will not go up if you've subscribed before 1 May 2023.

From a different page of the BA website:

SUBSCRIPTION PRICES ARE CHANGING
Planning on subscribing? If you do it before 1 May 00:01 BST, the price will stay the same throughout your subscription. The price change depends on the currency.

Well that’s good news, and accounts for the lack of communication to current subscribers.
But once the subscription ends, is it still worthwhile ?

I've got the Adventurer yearly subscription in November last year. Wonder if I can pre-purchase another annual year and lock in existing pricing.

BA “household“ accounts, my friends ;)

Leverage this subscription (and others like The Economist) with up to 7 different accounts. Of course that means they’re all limited by the BA Avios redemption charts, taxes and Availability - QR doesn’t offer household accounts.

I believe you are already on a subscription, albeit yearly, and it automatically renews each year. T&Cs: https://pgt.shopping.ba.com/subscription

It's not 100% clear to me whether existing subscriptions will renew next year at the old or new pricing, but I suspect it's the old pricing based on the current wording on the BA website.

It doesn't say it maintains legacy pricing though? I'm preparing to pay the new subscription price.

Does anyone have a May or June renewal coming up? We should find out relatively quickly!

If you go to to this page: https://pgt.shopping.ba.com/subscription
Log in and click on your active subscription it will advise the amount and next payment due date. In my case my yearly subscription will be renewed next year at the current rates. You can also change your payment method in this portal.
Good pick up .

Mine has the existing price for next month’s deduction .

I wonder if we log in after 1-May the price will reflect the new pricing model though?

I have an Adventurer pack and just checked the subscription details. They're just as they used to be "billed at GBP1,789 pa". So, does this mean that that price is locked in for my next renewal, or that it's the price for this year and it'll go up on renewal in December? Anyone got a renewal in the next few weeks who could confirm what will happen?
