Looks like you got hosed about $200 in BA bullshit. Still not a bad deal. My TA priced it out approx $3,300

Dang! Should have used your TA. I have 24 hours to cancel.
How can your TA get it cheaper than matrix though?

Matrix often is wrong when it comes to pricing for anything other than a simple A to B return. It has at times priced it more than it should be, and also lower than it should be.

Is that due to fare bucket availability with Matrix being cached and hence, sometimes inaccurate.

Hello everyone,

When changing sales city on ITA to anything but Australia, JL YQ surcharge of about $189 shows up (for SIN/TYO routing).

Does this mean I pay less booking with Australia based TA or ITA info is outdated? I have a friend in USA who confirmed 2 JL YQ surcharges of around $16 and $189 AUD which matches ITA when sales city is in the US.

Thanks a lot.

There's no JL fuel fines when ticketed in an Australian point of sale. I can price it properly under an Australian point of sale for you if you know what you're looking for.

Thank you madrooster. Will ask for help in the future. I'm still playing with the route.

Looks like JL fuel fines are normally added to base fare if ticketed in Australia but since this is BA fare, maybe JL has no idea on how to add them :D

For anyone that considers this as SC run, watch out the JL I earn rate on QF

This fare is best done as a BA gold TP run. It gets you 75% of the way to BA gold but nowhere near that towards QF platinum.

Flew my itinerary. Was a crazy 3 days flying SIN-HND-BKK-NRT / HND - SIN-SYD-PER consecutively and almost missing my HND connection due to a crazy / inefficient Tokyo motorway traffic.

Time to reload.

Anybody seen the ISALEAU or know when it will come back again? Can't see to see it on EF anymore

The routing is still there with a base price of 3380.00 · Fare basis is INNC32S2

yeah seems to be more expensive now given that is the base fare

i cant remember if ISALEAU only appears during sale period or was viewable all year round (but bookable only during sale periods)

I have only booked it once. With a base of 2500. I did see it creep up to close to this non sale price. What base did you pay?

hope ISALEAU comes back!

ISALEAU will never be back - BA changed their fare basis naming structure. The last one was around mid June and that was INNT37S2.
