After checkin we caught the air train to the C terminal to use the United Polaris Lounge which is quite new and very good when compared to other US lounges. I only visited as I am not sure when I would be back if at all. Departing EWR is not something I do often.

The lounge staff at the BA lounge let me in for a look around and then just said you can stay if you like, it was a nice gesture however it was almost time to board. The BA lounge is better (IMO) that the Virgin lounge.

The EK flight, I have taken one for the team and sampled/ eaten more food and wine. I feel like I have been on this flight forever but have just
left the AU mainland according to the tablet thingy, I have around 9.5 to go to reach DXB and I then get to do this again tomorrow.
