Send letter of complaint is my advice. Don't waste your time chasing this up.

Thank you Dr Ralph......I did phone them yesterday....they will investigate and ring me back...
They contacted me this morning and advised points will be transferred into account by 21/5/18....
No reason for delay, but I'm sure nothing was every going to eventuate without customer making contact first !!
I will report when points post .

If they haven't posted the points in accordance with the terms of the offer I'd encourage you to go for the jugular. Free points are always desirable.

Looks like this deal is back on the Qantas card selector site.

60k now for $149 AF and $2.5k spend until 15/06.

Tempted as I'm serving my sentence on most other cards.

Are you sure about that?

From memory, and people should correct me if I'm wrong, only one person actually reported ever receiving the points for this offer. But there were several reports of problems with the application/receiving the bonus points.

Yeah people's experiences on here are a concern but its either this or the HSBC for me so slim pickings!

still pursuing the base points + bonus points from my efforts earlier this year. i'd go hsbc before this one - has been very painful to say the least right from approval to this.

got instantly turned down on the basis of too many credit inquiries on my file in the last 6 months.

Called back and spoke to a supervisor however they were unable to even consider high assets/no debt/high income due to the apparently "high risk" profile I hold as a result of churning.

Guess i have no choice but to cool off till the end of the year, best of luck to everyone else out there!

Thanks mate, saves me bothering.

Have been updated to expect that the issue between bendigo & qantas has been resolved, and I should expect my points to hit in a few weeks time.

Going to give it til statement date which is pretty early in June from memory.

Off the top of my head, I have applied for 4 in the last 6 months? Two of which was Qantas Money which I have decided to stop wasting my time with.

Thanks! I've got 4 as well in the last 6 months too so will probably need to give this a miss.

I think when I got mine I had 3 cards in the previous 6 months.
They made me cancel a card before they would approve. That was a bonus for me. Straight after approval I applied for another card with a sign on bonus.

Sadly no points by 21/5 as promised ......some sort of delay...now by 30/5/18 !!!

Dr Ralph, it is obvious that you have had more experience in dealing with these 'cowboy's' than I.....
could you send me a link to your suggested letter, that I have previously read, but can't now find....
( but I'm sure I won't need to send as we are dealing with professional upright corporate citizens !!!)

Thank you.....

Thank you.....
This is a link to one that I previously displayed in the HSBC thread. On that occasion when I used it I ended up getting a full fee refund:

HSBC Platinum 60,000 $199 fee

Do not delay acting on a breach of contract as this can be regarded as acceptance of the breach and you may loose rights to compensation.

Letter sent to Bendigo Bank....noted my spend was completed 9/2/18 so 9/5/18 was deadline in accordance with t&c's.....see where it goes, and I will report back as the saga continues....
Well done. Hope you get some free points as a result.

Know that you have cost that Bank a whole lot of time and inconvenience in dealing with your letter. And so it should be given that they have breached their contract with you.
