Thanks, Nonpop
The pics are great and give a really good view. 36 J and K look cosy. ;) Now I'm really getting excited.

Glad it helped. Enjoy the trip.

Couple of travel tips to maximize that space ...
* take a standard plastic (coles / woolies) shopping bag and throw your shoes up top for more space then put on a pair of hotel slippers for the flight
* take out all the mags / safety cards in the seat-back pocket and throw them up top as well for even more knee space

Excellent. Many thanks for the tips, Nonpop.
I will put that s/market bag on the packing list now.

As others have said the arm rest can be raised however as per all Y seats on the A380 (Emergency Exit Seats and bulk head seats Exempted) one can not raise fully they go about 75-80 degrees and protrude into the seat area, unlike other seats that go flush.

For all the shorties out there (such as myself)... Legroom on row 32 is perfect, and the mag rack pops out into a perfect footrest with a pillow in it.

And may I ask roughly how tall are you? If anything less than 170cm I may put my dad in 32A and I'll take his in 33A and see how he gets treated by the FA hahah.

I guess PE is full from DXB to MEL or you will get an upgrade at the gate in DXB. According to QF rules for upgrades at the gate for flight with a stopover, only the second leg can be upgraded.

Ard you certain you definitely opted in fifcan airport upgrade?

Here's to hoping you get it on the DXB/MEL sector.

If successful is the amount of points deducted adjusted to reflect the upgrade was only DXB/MEL not LHR/MEL?

From the QF website (my bolding): "For upgrades at the airport, if you are travelling continuously on a flight that stops in one or more ports (with the same flight number), you will only be eligible for an upgrade on the last leg and only if that last leg has a flying time longer than three hours. Points will only be deducted for the portion of your flight that was upgraded."

Oh that's interesting, good to know!

Hi Guys, Could anyone please advise what the legroom is like on the qantas A380 at row 66, seats d,e,f or g and your thoughts on these seats? I am unsure whether to keep these seats or to move to the upper deck if seats are released. Appreciate your time. Russell

Here's a photgraph taken by medhead and posted recenly: (Great seats IMHO)

66 seemed ok to me. I was on the wrong side to notice the door. Also only for a HKG flight.
