So I came looking in this forum after getting multiple quotes for a Japan trip later this year. Qantas travel insurance is now underwritten/provided by AIG (I assumes they’re different to nib). For as good if not better coverage, for $28 I can score 5500 QFF points. Seems decent to me. Anyone have any recent claims experience?

The free insurance with the ANZ Black card is pretty good. Had to use some recently and it had the best claims handling process.

On the other hand, CoverMore were slow, coughbersome, and actually lied about their own policy terms when I had to make a claim in the past.
