Biggest Travel Regret?

The TWA flight attendant on a ATH-JFK flight in 1990.

Could have been the beginning of something special or got me nowhere. ;) I shall never know....

Big LIKE.... So you wanted to do a Ralph finnes and Lisa Robinson moment

Perhaps. She was all over me and loved my "Aussie" accent and I was too tired as I spent the night at ATH airport after coming down from up north in a bus in the middle of the night. :(

Not taking up a offer for upgrade from Y to J on a KL flight from LAX-AMS....for US$100.

.. How ironic.. I met the same type of 'one" from Santorini.. As I recall.. Athena.. If I can focus correctly.. :D

Not flying into the old Hong Kong airport......I had plenty of opportunities.

Not accepting the USSR Ambassadors invitation to visit Moscow-long story and not telling.

Did it involve a Russian cruise ship and travelling with a current politician whose name I can't remember? ;)

No a decent distance from the ocean and not a politician in sight apart from the Russians.Though for some titillation there was a female KGB agent involved.

I don't have any regrets as such (or none that I can think of at the moment), but there are certainly a lot of places I want to go and things I want to do - a long bucket list if you will...

My biggest travel regret was waiting too long to fly Mum to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower.

She always wanted to see it and I was always "too busy" working.

By the time I had "made time" it was too late and she passed away a few weeks later.

My brother died suddenly a year later and that's why I decided to sell my business's and retire at the age of 41!

My most recent regret was only overnighting in Moscow over new years, I had been to Moscow before but not for almost a decade, I'm super keen to head back soon!

Noice!

Biggest regret is waiting so long to travel to all of the places that I have wanted to - would have been great to have done so with youth and energy rather than with age and wisdom!

Biggest NON regret - taking my Mum on the two trips that she has ever wanted to do in life but never could: in 2007 to Darwin, and later that year to Alaska (both the cruise and inland trip) - 4 months later she had the first of her strokes and ever since has been unable to travel such distances (we did manage a week in Tasmania with a carer to look after her). It wasn't on her list but in October 2006 we flew her up to Hong Kong and then into mainland China - she loved it: that was her first trip ever outside of Australia, and if anyone else has ever had to arrange a passport for an 80yo who had never had a drivers license or other photo ID, you'll know what sort of fun it was!

One of my current travel regrets is not catching up with drron. I can only imagine the stories he could tell over dinner! I suspect it would be hugely entertaining.

Would have been nice to visit the coughpit during a flight.

I remember this as a kid a couple of times. Yeah it's an amazing experience. I remember trying not to touch anything, at the same time as wanting to touch something!

Biggest regret for me was not seeing the mountain gorillas in Uganda/Rwanda after visiting East and Southern Africa late last year. It would have only added a week to the trip, and I probably could have wrangled some extra unpaid leave from work. Alas, it just gives me an excuse to go there again.

Definitely concorde for me, had a lot of opportunity but no funds back then
