Just putting it out there, if I was to attend at the last minute, who could tell me the best combination/value for money for flights and room. Ex BNE with JQ1 ex SYD.

Hilton South Wharf (HSW) still have rooms for about $200 at the AAA rate. This is where the pre-dinner drinks are being held.
I haven't been monitoring the flights so I can't help with them, except if you can get a few hours in SYD before JQ1 you should get to meet a few AFFers in the Flounge.

Shame the JQ Price beat requires 72 hours notice - TT have a 12:35pm flight SYD-MEL for ~$105.

JQ1 is gunna cost $220+

However, it can be booked as an XASA for 28.4K points (or 7.2K & $195) or (no point/SC earn).
