Re: Bonus United Miles - Up to 100%

any suggestions on where to get a good understanding of the united offer? e.g. cost of changes, potential for stopovers vs multiple awards etc? contemplating them for LH F next year but want to go in with knowledge prepared, and accepted to fly alternative, i.e. originally booked flights (most likely TG F!)

all on a nice table in their website :) change/cancellation fees are dependent on status, with no status paying $75 for changes up to 61 days before departure, and $125 for changes 60 days or less. So swapping from TG F to LH F, which would be at T-14 at the earliest would be USD125. (cancellation/redeposit is now the same price as change fee)

most of the major blog sites gave a summary of UA's recent rule changes, including the 'free flight' between two cities in the one zone. They explain it pretty simply with diagrams etc.

Here is a link to one blog - I was on the road before and couldn't easily locate it: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2016/08/03/united-mileageplus-updates-2016/
