Bonus VA status credits offer - March 2024

My "activated" offer has disappeared from my account and still no bonus status credits have appeared. It's good to see everyone else is still waiting...

I don't recall ever seeing the offer. But Virgin seems to have put me on a "no promotional emails" list. I stopped getting the weekly sale email around the time of Covid and it has never returned no matter what I do with updating preferences. I even phoned them and they assured me I would get the emails but that was months ago. The only emails I get are "it's time to check in" etc.

Still waiting. We'll hit that 4 week mark this week. I have other SC I've been waiting on for over a week that would get me to Plat too. Maybe they're stalling until after the ANZAC day travel rush.

Still waiting, though we're now in week 4, so I'd say we should start to see them hit our accounts over the next week? *fingers crossed*

I am glad that they weren't added at the time of flying though, as for me they're better served for my new retention period. I flew a MEL-LAX segment on my Review date recently and those SCs went into the black hole, even though several GCC staff told me they would go towards my 'new' year. I was VERY unhappy about that, as it is why I didn't choose to fly one day later and why I chose to book VA tickets (and pay the premium) over UA direct... ah well, we live and learn. I've also noted that wording in the VRM T&Cs has been updated, which makes it clear that review date travel is part of the "current" year and not the new/next one.

That's gonna be a bit frustrating for some. I've missed out on Platinum benefits on 4 flights and they backdate the points (but not the benefits).

Still not seeing mine.

Turns out one of my flights was booked just before the promo period kicked off, so I've missed Plat requal by 15 status credits...

Same missed out on Gold by 20 points, but if I knew it earlier I could have arranged a trip. Was looking forward to having gold on the trip to Singapore next month guess I'll have it after the flight there.
