Agree Biryani. Also Nasi Lemak, Nyonya Ikan and Lamb chop all excellent. My wife has the lobster every time :).

I often order the Angus Beef Burger. And always regret it.

Agree the chicken rice is disappointing. I really enjoyed the steak last week, more so than I have previously.

Had the Nasi Lemak recently, it was very tasty. Our very friendly SQ FA commented that it was her personal favourite and usually my go to Malaysian meal. The steak dinners have been consistently good.

Thank all ... I'll give the Lamb Chop a go - @Cruiser Elite reckons it is good which concurs with @Comoman upthread.

Given I'm heading to Hong Kong for the weekend I reckon there will be ample opportunity to sample Asian influenced tucker. Moreover while I like nasi lemak, I have spent over 2 dozen nights in Kuala Lumpur / Singapore over the last two years.

Also, I do like the satay, but it’s really annoying when you order that and they serve it as a starter anyway.
You can always check the menu for your flight, and whether satay will be served as a canapé, by checking the digital menus on the SQ website. While menus are only published 8 days in advance, you can still enter a date in the next few days to see if satay is offered as part of the regular meal. Singapore Airlines - In-flight Menu

I realised @Cruiser Elite was referring to lamb rack, not chops (slight difference).

Anyway, I have changed to the lobster - not that I'll need much after the Private room.

I recently flew from SIN to SYD earlier this month and ordered the Beef Yakiniku and can confirm it was delicious. The quality of the wagyu beef is quite good and it was soft and retained some of that melt in your mouth texture. Compared to other beef dishes I’ve had on SIA, it was not tough or dry at all.IMG_3146.jpeg

Had the grilled beef a couple weeks ago. Probably slightly above average for a plane steak, biggest critique was not a lot of sauce. Would order again though

A photo of the steak dinner ex Oz (April 24), steak was ok , but have had better ex SIN and LHR. Barramundi dish was ex SIN (June24), and though a smallish serve was very tasty.

I had the bak chor mee dry style in F and liked it so much I ordered it on the return flight in J. The only difference was that the J version did not have soup on the side but perhaps that was an oversight.

That looks very good, love the chilli condiments that they provide.
Looks like the Mrs will be ordering this for our upcoming trip :p
