Booked under V class yesterday

Good news on the upgrade side of things - my two upgrades that charged at the discount economy rate have now been adjusted and the extra points credited back. Just took a bit longer than the flight adjustments, but it is happening "automatically".

Another data point: me too!

I had six flexi-saver (V class) economy fares booked in February, before the cutover date. After the cutover date I requested upgrades on all six of them. Two are 'requested', but four were confirmed immediately, and points taken out at the discount economy upgrade rate. I contemplated emailing, calling, or talking to the lounge angels to try to get them fixed, but wasn't too worried as the flights are all still weeks in the future. I'm glad I waited now, as after 12 or 13 days all four confirmed upgrades have had the correct amount of points refunded to take the total to what it should have been for a V-class upgrade in the first place.

I plan to just wait and see with the SCs as well, but given my outcome so far and comments in this thread, I suspect they will happen automatically after a moderate delay as well.

Fingers crossed my other two requests come through! :)

My V class flight finally happened yesterday...disappointed....

Arrived at Syd yesterday and went to the stock standard service desk near the self checkin terminals (right hand of security) asked the lady at the desk if I could move to an earlier flight before even bothering to check the system abruptly told me to goto the Sales desk instead, I insisted she check as the service desk has always been able to assist when on a Flex fare, grudgingly she looked up my booking and said "nope no seats in V class and you're not on a Flex fare, they are YBHK goto the Sales desk" I then mentioned I booked pre-18FEB and still wouldn't help.
After which went to the business lounge with 2 colleagues a few mins later and the lovely J lounge staff were only too happy to assist and moved us to the next flight without issues. So big thanks to them, though the Customer service rep I spoke to originally out the front needs to change her attitude!

Only thing that worked correctly was the points adjustment came through quickly for the flex points/sc's.

Anyway no more V class pre-18 feb flights left thankfully ..
