Booking Seats in Bus on BA

Hello all,

I am only QF silver at present and have just booked some bus class flights with QF at Christmas to UK/Eur I have choosen mostly BA flights but just realised that you cannot choose seats it appears. (call me daft or ignorant) only way appears to be $100 per sector to reserve and as I am travelling with my lady and the period will be busy I was hoping someone had some ideas or knew of some tricks?

Personally I wouldn't pay, when looking at BA seat maps not a lot of people can or do pre select seats, if you do the online checkin as soon as possile you should be able to get a good seat. Other option is get SG as soon as possible and you can select your seats

Even though I booked discount economy tickets for all intra-European flying on BA recently, I managed to select seats pretty early in the game (including exit rows). I am not sure if it has anything to do with mme being OWS however.

Status definitely helps with BA - also being in Full fare J rather than D or I (or U).

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I think status is the key with BA, so hopefully not long to go...
