Yes I would be pushing for business first and foremost in the event of a change.
To re-highlight my original question though. Am I right in saying that I'll need to wait for QF to make the first move re flight changes to be eligible for ORC. Eg if I take advantage of any "free flight change" scheme that they are using for affected flyers to change to a direct option ahead of time would I then be ineligible to claim ORC as I volunteered to do that. Am I better off waiting until they inform me that they have changed my flight and then I call up to request the flights I want instead.
Are you saying have a conversation with the staff at the airport at the point of itinerary change/downgrade or on the phone after the event rather than by email?need to have conversation
