They are just very bulky - probably no moreso than Bose. Also my ears get quite hot.
The bluetooth is great for me as I use them on the train mostly whilst watching tv/movies on the iPad.
I would prefer to use Jaybird Freedom but my previous set wouldnt fit my ears. I have Backbeat 906 as well but not only did they not really fit but the train noise was overpowering.
I have tried Shure and Ultimate ears but don't seem to get the noise blocking that others do.
I actually think I was planning to buy the bluetooth 450s but they only had the 550s at HKG and I had had quite a lot of wine on board...
