Just arrived back at the Hilton and ready for a BIG sleep in time for a BIG lunch.

All checked into my hotel now. Upgraded to a suite and given exec lounge access

I'm pretty buggered though so I might skip any continuing festivities tonight and save myself for tomorrow.

I have arrived. We had an awesome tailwind and made up that 40 minutes along the way.

Currently enroute to hotel. Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Air NZ was fantastic. CSM greeting as a valued DJ Platinum, given express card for AKL (not that I needed it) and I loved being able to order extra drinks through the IFE. Will definitely be flying them again!

Yeah...we made up the delayed time as well with the tail wind....I got nothing on Air NZ as DJ Plat, but with the time made up, managed to get to the JSH to join the AFF gang for a great steak, and Creme brûlée...despite arriving at Hilton AKL at 10 pm . Great to meet old and new faces! Now for the main event tomorrow...

So it's 9.10pm in AKL and the Auckland Blues are being beaten (ATM) by the Qld Reds [I am watching on delay through Foxtel IQ]. Weather looks okay.

I am imagining that everyone is well into their cups by now

Had to smile last night. Just heading up after my tasty butter chicken & a sweet young thing dashed into the lift as the door was closing. Phone pressed to her ear she asks her friend " have you ever heard of the Queensland Reds??? Is that some type of wine? I didn't think they had anything good up there..."

Seeing as we shipped all the Diamonds to the Hilton, I have the executive lounge at the Pullman to myself.

Currently enjoying a light breakfast before the main event
