Bouquets for the FAs

Considering this thread is almost seven years old kinda sad that there is no few posts so to speak
I know "Qantas is garbage etc etc " but surely there have been some nice FAs of late ?
I had a fantastic CSM by the name of Alida Lucas on my flight from BNE to MEL yesterday (QF621 23FEB20). She was one of the politest and friendliest OBMs in recent memory. I sent feedback into QF this morning because I was so impressed.

Hopefully even with Red Roo gone... Qantas still do monitor and maybe this reminds people to give postive feedback as well as when necessary negative

Alas, your hope is in vain..we are not one of their "supported" channels anymore. Their loss, as some of us have voted with our feet...although I am still in touch with Red Roo.

Loook at their history: Last seen Feb 1, 2018 (so 2 years)

Not FAs but a big shout-out to two MEL F lounge staff this week. Tania in the dining area - quiet, efficient, attentive. Remembered all my preferences from previous visits. Sadly not present on my next visit.
But Lauren in the spa was. She too remembered the customised treatment I enjoy. And an absolute delight to chat with.

If I get great service I always jump on Twitter and send a tweet to Qantas with the flight number and crew name(s). They always respond and they most definitely do send the feedback down to the crew, it can make for a much more pleasant flight next time you are on their flight.

Thanks for the tip - I have just done this!

My sister was on this evening's QF flight SYD-MCY.It is her birthday.A male FA approached her and asked if it was her birthday. When she answered in the affirmative he produced a botle of sparkling wine and a cake in a little box.well done QF.

Great service from two ADL based crew in the past few days. First Megan a CSM on MEL-ADL. Looked after a full J cabin really well.

Second Valeska on a SYD-ADL evening flight. Spent a big chunk of time in the J cabin supporting the CSM on another full flight. Helpful, professional, delightful. (I happened to sit next to her when she was paxing from ADL-MEL a few days' prior!)

Going to repeat here some praise for a FA. Gabbie, the absolutely outstanding J cabin attendant on a recent MEL-AKL flight. Helpful, personable, efficient, tireless. Very good all round. Her service was top-notch, with regular drink offers and constant glancing into the cabin to check on things. Best I could tell she sat for just 10 minutes across a 3 hour flight (to have something to eat before descent and a post-midnight arrival).

Reigniting this thread because I just had one of the most enjoyable flights ever.

Tanya the CSM of QF82 SIN-SYD last night was incredibly professional and made me (pts upgrade) feel incredibly welcome onboard. Nothing was too much for her and the attentiveness on this flight was better than any F class service I have received (not that I have much experience there).

She even went out of her way to look after my abandoned work companion in Y with J wines, PJs, amenity kit and icecream. They even brought him up to J class next to me for the breakfast service and arrival.

The whole crew seemed to be really in gear and enjoying their work.

Qantas can be hit and miss but this one was a definitely a hit.

I was on my first international flight in over 2 years a week or two back, from Sydney to Austin on QF11 via LAX.

Awesome service from Sean the CSM, I got bumped onboard from Premium Economy to Business and the crew serving J were excellent. Had a good chat with the crew over changes for them reference Covid etc.

It's great to see service hasn't changed.

I flew back from LAX to SYD in Premium Economy with AA and the service is no where near as good as Qantas, food was good (wine cheap), crew pleasant enough but I found the seats worse than Qantas and little things like just a bottle of water when seated and no choice of sparkling wine/water/sparkling water as a welcome.

Been awhile since this thread saw some love so I thought I'd throw some to crews on some flights yesterday I took.

Both flights, 737's, the CSM's were outstanding and served full J cabin constantly.. plentiful wine refills, or offering extra sparkling wine/water to those who were enjoying, efficient with meal service and tray removal and all with a great sense of humour and that deft touch to know when to linger with someone and have a little chat, or to move on. One CSM was Astrid, and I didn't catch the other, but I was so very impressed given what they have to work with (soft product wise0 and the limitations of masks, covid rules etc that I genuinely felt, on both sectors, some great premium and warm service. Honestly couldn't ask for more in my view (in fact I had to cut myself off from wine refills or I would have been stumbling off the aircraft :D )

Is it just the standard feedback form you use to provide positive feedback? I was impressed on my SYD-MEL this week above the usual positive experiences I personally have flying QF to warrant sharing it with them.

back in the heyday of the P1 SST I used to provide feedback via tem....
