30 minutes...assume u do this 90 times a year, twice a week, 45 weeks a year...that's alot of time I'd rather spend working on my short game:-)

The 369 Mitchelton Bus.

I do my 9 trips for the week by Friday morning so Friday afternoons trip to airport via DFO and Sunday's trip back via DFO cost nothing. Worse case scenario and they would be ~$3.50 each way off-peak which is much better than paying that rort.

Only problem is I spend an extra 30 minutes each way. Not such a big deal.

I don't think johnk needs much work on his short game being off a low teen to single figure handicap ...

... other than that i depends what one's time is really worth - On the weekend with a Zone 1&2 yearly myki pass I am generally happy to spend an extra ¾ hour getting home to save between $14 (skybus) and $140 taxi. Work days not so much.

My time is not worth that much.

I suspect I do this ~70 times a year so at ~$14.50 per trip I am saving ~$1,000/pa. I don't save that much each time but very close to it. Trips to/from OOL are also free on Go card unless I am returning at the beginning of the week which is hardly ever or I have been on holidays.

A return airfare SIN-SYD-SIN is ~AUD600 at the moment and ~10 accommodation in Thailand is worth ~AUD880 so by saving money on the airtrain I have paid for a fair amount of one my trips to Thailand. ;)

My problems on the golf course are not related to practice but my body not letting me swing the golf club. :(

Follow thru to 1p, inside to out:-)
