Sorry everyone at this stage the drinks night is postponed to a date to be fixed later,I have received some unpleasant correspondence
on the subject so to prevent it going any further I am asking that the moderators close the thread.
This will be my last AFF post however I can be followed on Twitter if anyone finds my sometimes inane ramblings of value.

At the request of the OP, I am now closing this thread.

Just a reminder that AFF is a Community and we do get "all types" and can't really control the communication style of our members. That said, we don't tolerate abuse, aggressive behaviour, and bullying. Such posts will be deleted and the member diciplined. While we respect the fact that PMs are private, they are still part of the AFF "Infrastructure" and our Guidelines do therefore apply to PMs as well. So, if any member receives a PM which they feel breaches our Guidelines, please forward it to me or any of our moderators. (Don't post it publicly, forward the PM to admin or any moderator) If appropriate, we will then take action in the same manner as if the PM was a public post. Obviously, we have no influence on what's written on any non-AFF infrastructure such as twitter or Facebook.
