Still trying to work out what I'm doing on the 26th, wanted to fly somewhere but haven't booked yet...

You can park there as the HI is part of the Roma St Transit centre.

I am going to get a train as I am coming from Sunny Coast and it will be quicker for me than driving.

Pretty dire, especially before 7pm. My recommendations:
- Don't park in the HI's carpark or the Transit Centre carpark, you'll be up for a max of $70 for a few hours. Secure Parking | Find Parking | Brisbane | Brisbane CBD North | Holiday Inn - 160 Roma Street, 160 Roma Street, Brisbane and Secure Parking | Find Parking | Brisbane | Brisbane CBD North | Holiday Inn - 160 Roma Street, 160 Roma Street, Brisbane [Yes, they are NASTY!]
- You might (should?) be able to find a metered space either in May St, Herschel St, or Makerston St.
- Not sure what the cheapest nearby carpark is, although I suspect it might be the Myer Centre carpark (after 4pm) The Myer Centre Brisbane : Parking Prices

If you are a holiday inn patron parking is a max $27, usually $17 if you are there as part of a function. Or you can park at the Roma St Parklands side of the train station, usually plenty of spaces and I think the meter stops early PM.

Turns out I'll be near the city for once when a brisbane drinks is on. I have a 'team building' day at victoria park golf course on the 25th so I'll try and make my way over afterwards. I'll confirm closer to the date.

One of my goals for this years was to actually come to a few of these... workloads and leave passes depending, count me in for now (will confirm closer to the date as well).

Won't be terribly late though as I'm off to Sydney with the family the next day.
