We are working on our bucket list, so have been to Amazon, Arctic, Antarctica, Easter Island, Galapagos, Moscow, Alaska.
Currently in LA heading towards the Caribbean and Brazil.

My list is too long for this site. and changes .
However when thinking about "travel " as in the conveyance my lsit is a follows (in no particular order)
1. a long Haul in F (QFF in my case) but would like to add a few others like EK etc
2. Blue Train
3. Orient Express
4. Luxury Barge through France,or similar
5. Flying Boat experience.

cant think of much else at this stage

7. Cruise up the Inside Passage (Canada) - moreso than Arctic/Antarctic
8. AONE6 for my 60th birthday

11. LTG on QF
12. LTG on AA
13. Plat on VA/DJ

I have been fortunate to have ticked off a number of my original bucket list (reminded by the lists others are producing) - in particular having done an AONE4, Concorde (BA1), Concorde Room, New York, Great Wall of China, Prague, Autobahn driving, Berne, Caribbean.....ahh, the memories.

I am hoping to tick off a couple for my 50th (2, 3, 5 & 6) and number 13 by the end of this month. Brett Godfrey will be impressed that I finally came over to the VA side

[OT]I have been to both (as a former resident in Jo'burg), as well as Kenya - Tanz, but for me Etosha in Namibia was the best game park. But all the African parks are impressive

On the phone to a South African client who used to do photography trips to the game parks and he agrees with you about Etosha.

2. Golf: Augusta National, Pebble Beach, St Andrews and Carnoustie (in that order)
3. Route 66 in a Mustang
4. Attend a Superbowl and one of the conference championship games prior to the SB.
5. Take in the Tennis at Wimbledon
6. Bora Bora for a week or two

Airline loyalty programs I'm not too fussed on setting a life time goal there. That's not to say I'm not enjoying the current WP status it's just that if it happens it does if not it won't prevent the others from occuring.

Next on the bucket list Newfoundland Canada in time to visit iceberg alley as the bergs drift down that section.

Having now visited 40 countries i have seen quite a few... But things to be ticked off in the next few years trips again in no particular order (including the final 3 of the recent 7 wonders of the world):

1. Northern or Southern lights
2. Moscow, St Petersburg and Helsinki (probably train it between them)
3. Galapagos Islands
4. Great Wall of China
5. Petra
6. Taj Mahal and the triangle around Delhi
7. Safari tour of Tanzania/Kenya
8. US/Canada Pacific North East (Vancouver/Seattle/Calgary)
9. Japan (several cities)
10. Cruise somewhere (probably around the Caribbean)
11. Maybe drive North/West - South/East or South/West - North/East across of the USA

Get back from work, have shower, eat dinner, get blind drunk, sleep it off....

I still want quite a few trips around the sun before I kick the bucket.
A drive around America in a unlimited mileage hire car is on my list staying at lovely hotels like Little America.
In 1984 we did it with a pretty small budget so I would like to do the drive in style and maybe do 12,000 to 15,000 miles in 2 months to see all the sights.

Going to Vegas in Feb for a wedding so am doing over to see it for a day or so. Time is against me on that trip.

Are you aware that there is a Concorde that you can walk around in at the Boeing museum in Seattle? - also the old B707 Airforce One.

Amazon fron Brazil side.
Africa-Rorke's Drift,Tugela falls,Cruise the west coast(CPT-ACC),Game parks in Botswana and zambia plus Victoria Falls.
Cruising Iceland to Churchill in Hudson Bay,Canadian Rockies.
Cruising Sapporo to Fiji via guam and many small islands.

I don't think I've seen a Kimberley coast cruise on anyone's list. I went Broome to Wyndham over 14 nights in April-May. It's sensational and right on our doorstep.

I was thinking at least 250km/h in the likes of an M3!

At least 250? It cuts out @ 250kph, as do all European cars.

You will need something that had been chipped to go faster, in any case it might be safer to go to Nuremberg. Less traffic.

I have done 250kph in a CL65AMG on the Autobahn and I can tell you that it us scary coming up behind a car only doing 120kph. At your speed odds are he can't see you and you just never know if he is going to change lanes!

The crazy thing is the rule that you can't stay in the outside lane for too long. Freaked me out in my brothers people mover, with snow tires on, to have fast cars cut across 3 lanes from the outside to the inside lane and then back again.
