Taking into account loyalty bonuses and points earnt, 12,500 pts + $68.88 net for 100SCs. So, 175,000 + $964.32 for Platinum from nothing.

Boy, i can't remember but were the double status credits also earned on ASA's?

Imagine that, 87,500 + $482.16 for platinum from nothing..

Far out, that's pretty awesome. Pity I don't have 87k points or double SC offer though!!

I doubt you'd be targeted for double SCs unless you already had some status.

NB, if you did have time (during the double SC period) and nothing better to do, you could spend 875k pts (net) + $4,821 + fly 140 flights to earn LTG.

Well you guys have cracked it! :)

I am not in the double SC promo sadly , wish I was!

I'm pretty sure there was a couple of no status members that got the offer, im sure there was one in the 'double status credits' thread...

If nothing else I reckon its a good run to add to the options if you're in need of 100SC's and have some spare points..

And after all that flying you wouldn't want to get on another aircraft to take advantage of your newly minted lifetime status. ;)

OK...so I have a day off at the end of the month (which I have allocated to finalising business accounts at home for tax time) so I thought I might book one of these too.

Saw the 100sc for $69 (and was going to book a return but the times were too irritating). Instead I decided on 180sc for $128 and 35000 points instead (after earning 5000). Will be nice to sit in lounge and plane all day doing my work, including wine and a meal on the last sector.

My partner thinks Im mad.

I was mucking around before and saw a mel-adl-syd-cbr-syd-hba-syd-mel

Over 3 days (2 nights)

for a total of 340sc's for 118,000 sc's or 72,000 and $423...

As the OP, and as the double SC promo comes to an end, I thought I'd update you all that using JASAs replacing my regular domestic economy travel, plus a long weekend trip to SIN via PER (also JASA), by the time I complete my next flight (next weekend SYD-BNE-SYD JASA) I shall be WP :p

I probably burned around 160,000 pts net yielding 800 SCs or so (double SCs), in additional to my usual Y monthly self-funded travel, and have enjoyed travelling in the pointy end on every flight for the past 7 or so sectors.

As my status year ends November, this will result in at least 17 months WP + 12 months SG without even travelling, of course, what would be the point of that? I have plenty of future travel plans including multiple O/S journeys slated, and am looking forward to getting back into the FCL. See you in the dom J lounge too!

Good luck to all those who are doing status runs using ASAs!
