$200 for 60 SCs. Good Value SC runs have certainly entered the domestic realm. Shame the SCs are sector based

thanks Not cheap Maybe GOLD might be more affordable

If you need to go from no status to Platinum or even Gold then it is not really worth it.

If on the other hand you were already doing a lot of flying and would get close then go for it.

Thanks for the info. I did some calculations, 4 X SYD-CNS returns in J (using happy hour sale) is pretty close to 500SC's. I think the fare this afternoon was $400 return.

Just checking to see if I can change the time on one of these $200 J specials. Definitely some confusion at Velocity. I got put through to a Red rep (I'm newly Gold) she seemed to think I'd have to pay the fare different $645. When I mentioned I was now Gold she indicated her system still showed me as Red, but offered to xfer me to Gold. They guys at Gold were super helpful even though they were a bit puzzled by the super cheap J fare!

After a bit of checking they said I was liable for the fare difference but as a good will gesture they would waive it in this case. Jolly nice of them. Loving Gold already!

Thanks for the heads up on their process for changes. Thank God for being Gold!

I used the Fly Ahead access successfully when in MEL 2 weeks ago when on one of these fares. I was thinking of trying to change my 6pm ADL/BNE flight on Wed when I realised that there were no earlier flights (12pm then 6pm) and going via SYD wouldn't have got me hone earlier
