Business class seats ... uncomfortable?

Just complete a couple of long hauls in business on QF, while they could use more padding they were fine, no issues and I'm 6'3", couldn't touch the seat in front and plenty wide enough for me.

I have been on the SQ A380 in business twice now.

The first time the seat was way too hard and felt like sitting on a bench. Service is good though.

The second time the seat was way too hard and felt like sitting on a bench but I crashed out for most of the flight. From memory I slept without making bed and I can't remember if I had dinner either.

I have flown SQ J on an A380 and 777, the width was fantastic, sleeping position was a little hard for my liking but nothing major and still comfortable..only thing I didn't like was sleeping on an angle due to the position of the foot hole.

Just back from my trip, the seats on the 777-200 and 777-300 are so much better than the A380. Seating wise I found the seats on the A380 far too wide and hard to my liking. Maybe sleeping would be a different matter but overall I felt more comfortable on the 777s. Hope the new designs will address some of the issues.
